Piano Lessons

Access to a quality acoustic piano kept in tune or a full-sized digital piano with weighted keys is needed for consistent practice on a daily basis for steady growth.

For the complete beginning student, the first 5 to 10 weeks will use a no-book method to allow the student to explore music learning the way one learns a language before learning to read words. This will include echoing exercises, improvisation and composition as well as rhythm games, singing and off-the-bench activities.

Beginning through intermediate/early advanced students will find a solid beginning to their piano studies through lessons that include music theory, ear training and composition as well as the traditional route of method books appropriate to each student. Through sites such as Piano Pronto, music purchased via studio licenses will be available as they become appropriate to a student's level of development at no extra charge.
